Technical Updates
- Integration of Baby JubJub Key Pair Support in DevNet Environment: Building upon the foundational principles similar to those present in the BBS Signature Scheme, incorporating BabyJubJub Key pairs fortifies our system's capabilities. This strategic integration will enable us to power the use cases linked with Zero Knowledge Proofs.
- Advancements in Decentralized Identifiers (DID) Canonization: Our research endeavors in the realm of DID have culminated in enhanced support for the consumption of JSON-LD DID Documents, furthering our commitment to standardized, interoperable decentralized identity solutions.
- Architectural Re-configuration of the Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) Software Development Kit (SDK): The restructured framework has been designed to adeptly accommodate multiple key types, complemented by a developer-centric approach, an enhanced API interface and detailed accompanying documentation.
Cosmocon at Token2049
Hypersign, along with our partners from the Cosmos ecosystem, organized a networking night in Singapore on the sidelines of the Token2049 event with over 1000+ registrations and 200+ attendees. Catch the event's highlights here:
Moto GP Bharat Collaboration
The crowning achievement of September came on the weekend starting September 22nd. Hypersign collaborated with AtomX to develop a digital Legal Drinking Age Verification tool at the Moto GP Bharat. This pioneering tool utilizes Zero Knowledge Proofs & selective disclosure, setting a new standard for age verification at large-scale events. This tool was tested live at the Moto GP Bharat event with over 30,000+ live LDA checks happening over two days!
MIT ADT University Workshop
Our DevRel, Raj Patil, initiated the month by delivering a hands-on developer workshop on blockchain-based Self Sovereign Identity at MIT ADT University.
hack:DiD Hackathon Winners
The long-awaited announcement of the hack:DiD hackathon winners was made on September 8th. This hackathon, a collaboration between Hypersign & Dojima Network, was a part of our commitment to promote the adoption of Self-Sovereign Identity. Spanning over two months and starting on June 10th, this online hackathon was complemented by IRL developer workshops in four major cities of India: Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai.
- 1st Place: BeePoll, a DAO voting project integrating the Dojima chain and Hypersign's DID service.
- 2nd Place: Dojinized, a project on the Dojima Blockchain emphasizing regulated token transfers, asset tokenization, and more.
- 3rd Place: Dodo-Redesigned, focusing on enhancing the Dodo platform for secure, decentralized identity cards.
